DOROVÅ embraces the unconventional. Their fresh take on electric guitar is driven by who they are and by the music that molded a passion for anthemic rock.
Alex, aka DOROVÅ, debuted in the 2010s with alt-rock band Valadares, playing regional shows and tours, including at Vans Warped Tour and a featured appearance with Sheila E.
Alex kickstarted a solo venture in 2016, releasing the ballad-turned-epic single “Fool” and pop anthem “Love is Free”, followed by the funk-infused single “Way I Do”. An EP, ‘genuality.’ followed before everything paused in 2020.
Post-2020 proved to be a major growth point in their life, serving as a period of self-discovery and a time of renewed inspiration in their songwriting and ambitions. An example of this was the release of a guitar-centric three track EP, DOROVÅ’s 'Rona Tapes, a collection of basement-tracked improv demos recorded during the pandemic, heralding a renewed focus around their affinity with creating rock forward music.
DOROVÅ’s latest chapter finds them residing in Los Angeles, releasing new music with the rock hectic single, ‘Out and Awake’—a blistering declaration to accept ourselves for who we are, regardless of what others may perceive. Followed by riff driven single, ‘Never Gonna Die’, due out Summer of 2026, these electric new tunes are produced and mixed by Eric Emery (Blink-182, Yellowcard, Yungblud).
